The Student Liaison Outreach Team b.k.a. S.L.O.T., took home the best community service organization award -- The Iron Award at the FAAM Awards this fall at Virginia State University.
Student Liaison Outreach Team (S.L.O.T.) was recognized as an organization on Virginia State University's campus on January 12, 2007. The S.L.O.T. program is designed specifically to connect the youth with their future. The members of S.L.O.T. are fulfilling that goal by providing positive influences through interactive community service and workshops.
